Forest Families are a highly collectable version of Sylvanian Families produced in Taiwan in the 1980's. The main part of the collection is thirty two family set of four figures, although there are some additional figures.
The figures are slightly larger than standard Sylvanian, though not perhaps the larger Sylvanian figures, they tend to be more stocky, giving a feel of being larger.
Value is dependent on rarity, with full family sets also attracting a premium (unless you already have the other three!)
