The Marmalade Bears were originally released in the UK in 1992, with a re-release in 2006 by Flair. Originally the grandparents were a collector's exclusive, but were included in the Flair release. They use the large bear mould, although a Calico Critters release used the smaller mould. They are also very similar to the Japanese Teardrop Bear family.
